VINEYARDS:

The Serdiana estates, in the Sibiola countryside, are the closest to the winery. They are home to some of the best known traditional Sardinian vines and cover about 45 hectares, divided into two parts: Iselis of about 35 hectares and Su Pranu of about 10 hectares. In these vineyards we produce both white and red grapes and test our new cultivation techniques, before using them in the other estates.
The Sisini estate covers about 50 hectares among the hills in the historical region of Trexenta, North of Cagliari and Serdiana. The land is at an altitude of between 200 and 250 metres above sea level and is composed of marl, sandstone and marly limestone. Here the microclimate, soil and exposure are ideal for growing the grapes for our white wines, such as the Vermentino variety, which originates in northern Sardinia and was planted in the area by Antonio Argiolas, the founder of the winery.
The Sa Tanca estate covers about 80 hectares between the towns of Selegas and Guamaggiore. It is in a hilly area, between 250 and 350 metres above sea level. It is composed of regular brown soils and white limestone soils that make the soil permeable. Here we grow mainly red grapes: the intense rainfall distributed throughout the year and the sudden changes in temperature make the microclimate ideal for the grapes to develop and maintain the elements that will give the wine its colour and aromas.
The Vigne Vecchie estate covers about 40 hectares in the hills near the town of Selegas. It is located on a calcareous and marly relief that presents both deep brown soils and soils with a strong presence of limestone, very suitable for white grape varieties. Thanks to the good altitude and the characteristics of the soil, it is an area particularly suitable for the production of fine wines.
The Is Solinas estate covers about 15 hectares along the coast on the Gulf of Palmas, in the South-West of Sardinia. The microclimate, thanks to the action of the wind and the wide temperature range, is ideal for the cultivation of the Carignano vine. The sandstone of these soils retains the moisture of the night, which naturally protects against drought and gives life to lush vines with incredibly rich fruit.
