In 1787 the Comte Lafond family bought the Poully-Fumé vineyards in Chateau du Nozet, in the Loire valley. And today the the owner of this historic wine business is the Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a direct descendant of that over time has expanded the areas planted with vines with the acquisition of vineyards in the areas of Sancerre, Pouilly-Fuissé, Chablis,of Champagne, Vouvray and Chinon.
